Why: Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a term for application programs that can perform human tasks that were or are performed manually by humans—thus, the name AI refers to human task replacement capabilities. Applications replacing manual tasks have existed since the 1940s, and what has changed over time is the hardware process capabilities to run application programs, removing barriers to applications performance and time to run them, allowing for new and more complex applications.

My intended audience is anyone on the journey to understand and learn more about Artificial Intelligence (AI). These blogs reflect my learning journey about AI and are intended to stimulate discussion across the communities of interest and stakeholders. Other knowledge and publications will be referenced in these blogs for your exploration.
